FlexNOW uses either Bloomberg tickers or RICs to identify instruments. For equities, FlexNOW expects Bloomberg tickers in the format TICK EX YellowKey (e.g. AAPL US Equity or AIR FP Equity).
FlexNOW uses the standard Logon and Heartbeat FIX messages to establish and maintain the session between your OMS and the FlexNOW servers. FlexNOW maintains sequence numbers until the FIX session resets. FlexNOW supports daily and weekly FIX sessions.
FlexNOW uses the standard Logout FIX message to close the session between your OMS and the FlexNOW servers.
You should include and expect to receive standard FIX header and trailer tags in all messages.
